Practice
We welcome newcomers and offer meditation instruction to new and seasoned meditators alike. Please contact us at practice@nalandabodhi.ca. Shamatha MeditationSitting meditation is regularly scheduled at Nalandabodhi centres. These sessions sometimes include viewing DVD teachings by The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. Tara PracticeTara practice is especially powerful for removing negativity, overcoming fears, and creating favourable conditions for practice. It is practised individually and as a group. Community Practice DayNalandabodhi centres organize community practice for one or two days each month. This includes sitting meditation, walking meditation, and other practices open to the public. The Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche encourages Nalandabodhi students and study group participants to attend all or at least part of Community Practice Day. Guru Rinpoche PracticeThis brief Guru Rinpoche practice of Padmasambhava is practised individually and as a group. Prayer 4 PeaceIn response to our troubled world, Rinpoche has instructed us to engage in the Prayer 4 Peace, a Vajrasattva practice.
